In what can be seen a little more than outright propaganda, CNN hosts Chris “Fredo” Cuomo and Don Lemon mocked skyrocketing violent crime in major Demcorat-run cities in an attempt to minimize the predictable fallout from the war on police.
A war being facilitated by the Black Lives Matter movement and the Democratic Party, aided and abetted by media enablers like CNN.
“It’s all about creating division. And making, you know, in a country that is well over 70 percent white, if this happens, it is bad for you,” Cuomo said Tuesday night during the hand off between the anchors. “The literally say it on state TV.”
The smart aleck comment being a cheap shot a Fox News, as the CNN anchors who are fully invested in running interference for BLM project their very behavior on the rival network.
“Oh yeah, you see the right-wing machine kick in, media machine kick in, when you see Trump’s poll numbers go south,” Lemon chimed in, before echoing what the right is saying.
“Democratic cities are in chaos right now,” he said. “Is this what you want from Joe Biden? And they’re gonna take your country away. And they’re taking down the statues.”
“Crime is rising!” Cuomo interjects, as the two finish each others thoughts so easily one night wonder just how much time they spend together off set. “Defund police.”
Lemon proceeds to giggle and mock the fact that violent crime is indeed rising.
“Crime is rising,” he said, repeating Cuomo’s words. “Oh my gosh! It’s so bad and they are defunding the police.”
Lemon then said people on the right, white conservatives, “fall for it.”
“They fall for it and that’s why they do things like what they did. They want to paint over [BLM] signs and think ‘it’s our country, this is the country that we built.’ Even though a rich diversity of people helped build the country and many of us, meaning our ancestors — for free – did not get paid for it, couldn’t get an education, could not build wealth, are not on statues — Confederate or otherwise. They’re not on Mount Rushmore.”
As for crime, be it in Chicago, New York City or Atlanta, gun crimes are surging in one Democrat-run city after another.
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms beseeched citizens to stop “shooting each other up on our streets” over the 4th of July weekend, after an eight-year-old girl was shot and killed.
“Enough is enough… you shot and killed a baby,” Bottoms said.
This coming after the Democrat issued executive orders “dramatically” tightening rules of engagement for police.
Here was the tally in Atlanta for July 4th alone.
A list of shootings that happened overnight, per APD:
An 8 year old girl was shot & killed on Pryor Rd
2 people were shot on Hardee St
5 people shot on Lakewood Ave
1 man shot on Edgewood
14 people were shot on Auburn Ave
1 person was shot on Etheridge Dr @FOX5Atlanta #atlanta

In Chicago, 63 people were shot over the weekend, with 17 killed. In New York City, where Mayor Bill de Blasio plans to cut over $1 billion from the NYPD budget, 44 were injured and at least six killed.
NBC New York, far from being part of the “right wing media machine” referenced by Lemon, reported last week that statistics “show a dramatic increase in homicides and shootings in the first six months of 2020.”
“According to the NYPD, 178 homicides were reported in New York City so far this year. The statistics include information through June 30. This is a 21 percent increase from the number homicides reported during the same time last year when the city saw 147 homicides,” the affiliate reported.
And the surge has been more recent, as the New York Times reported the city logged 125 shootings in the first three weeks of June, more than double the number recorded over the same period last year.
At the same time, proactive policing has pretty much been put on hold in many cities due to hyperventilating media coverage designed to impact the November election.
